Job Purpose
- Responsible for operation, maintenance, and development of IN, SMSC, and VAS system. Also, responsible for the design and implementation of new prepaid packages, price plans and VAS services.

Principal Accountabilities

- Supervises and ensures the optimal performance for Prepaid Charging System (IN), SMSC and VAS nodes.
- Study, tests and implements new technical solutions as required related to IN, SMSC and VAS system.
- Develop new scripts and procedures for assisting in O&M tasks and analyzing system performance.
- Analyses system logs and performance reports, coordinate with product vendors for escalation of network-critical alarms and problems and apply the necessary fix to resolve the issue within SLA.
- Attend and resolves all tickets opened by customer care related to IN, SMS and VAS system; coordinates with Thuraya network services team for network related issues, and assist in resolution.
- Take part in the installation, commissioning and extension projects and perform acceptance testing with vendor

Knowledge Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in Telecom networks preferably in the Prepaid Charging Systems (IN), SMSC and VAS
- Knowledgeable in basic call flows for IN & SMSC Networks
- Familiarity with pricing and rate plans
- Basic understanding of Protocol Stack such as SS7 (Camel, ISUP, MAP), SIGTRAN, TCP/IP, Diameter, SIP etc
- Good computer and analytical skills
