SatSleeve Hotspot comes equipped with an SOS call button that works even if the smartphone isn’t connected. The SOS button will make an outgoing call to a predefined number set by the user or receive an incoming call.

The Thuraya SatSleeve Hotspot can also be used to access emails and browse the Internet via a satellite data connection (GmPRS). There are 3 different APNs available, allowing you to choose the settings which are the most convenient for you. These available APN-names are: ‘GET’ (standard APN with no compression), ‘GETLC’ (low compression, images are being compressed), and ‘GETHC’ (high compression, images will not be downloaded to reduce website loading time).
